Cherry Pistachio Labneh

Labneh = endless opportunities. If there were ever a blank canvas in the food world, this is it. Labneh is basically yogurt strained overnight to extract all of the whey, giving it an extremely thick consistency and sour tang. It is a staple in the Middle East and can be used in baking, soups, or on its own as a sweet or savory dip. This recipe is an example of the ease that Labneh can bring to your life. Can be a great breakfast or dessert for a crowd. Enjoy!
 
Cherry Pistachio Labneh
 
½ pound Labneh*
1 jar Sour Power Cherry Rhubarb jam*
¼ cup pistachios, chopped*
Honey for drizzling*
Effie’s Oat Cakes*

  1. Spoon labneh into large bowl. Top with the cherry jam, about half of the jar. Sprinkle with the pistachios and drizzle with honey.
