Glögg and Mulled Wine Night

We gather Norwegian facts, slang words, and traditions from our lovely Norwegian team member, Ingrid, who not only is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wine and all things foodie, but also owns her own dog walking company. Norway loves warmed wine, called glögg, during the holiday season. There are many traditional recipes varying from region to region in Scandinavia. In all of these hot concoctions, there is pretty much the same base of ingredients including red wine with the addition of spices, cloves, cinnamon, citrus, and vanilla. There is also clear glögg, which uses white wine as the base and more citrus, and is found mostly in southern Scandinavia.

Join us tomorrow as we put our own Cheese Shop spin on Norwegian Glögg, made with the addition of delectable and local Curio Mulled Spices! We'll also be pouring Kopke Tawny Port, available in big bottles (750ml) and small elfish bottles (375ml).
