Beer Tasting led by Lauren!

What puts the "craft" in craft, beer? What makes these brews artisanal, creative endeavors? What's behind beer that's shelved at the same price as some wines? Lauren will taste you through a lineup of innovative craft beers and discover why the burgeoning craft beer industry is finding such a firm foothold in the long-standing institution of fine-food and drink.

  • Hopvine Bling from Stillwater Artisanal, Baltimore, MD - A dry-hopped Berliner Weisse with Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
  • Cascade Sours from Portland Oregon - Sours have become an institution, almost in a world of their own at this point. What makes the best of the best? We have four flavors, and we'll be tasting our favorite.
  • Straffe Drieling from Logsdon Farmhouse ales in Hood River, Oregon - An organic Belgian triple from a legendary selection of Belgian-style beers.
  • Perle ai Porci from Birra del Borgo, Italy - An oyster stout (also brewed with clams) to produce a noticeably briney brew.
