A Garden Full of Flowers: Botanical Brews

Don’t count summer out yet! There’s still plenty of time to gallivant in luscious gardens with a floral brew in hand. Dustin with Merrimack is visiting to taste you through a line-up of botanical beers and ciders including Bantam, Two Roads, Ithaca, and Brewmaster Jack.

Bantam - Hibiscus Mint:  The prodigy ciderhouse from Somerville has bottled summer with this succulent, crisp, tongue tickling cider that’s as appealing to the eye as it is to the palate: it pours pink!

Two Roads – Roads Garden:  This high-gravity blonde Saison from Connecticut’s Two Roads Brewing is imbued with the very essence of an aromatic flower garden, including lavender, calluna, chamomile and calendula.

Ithaca – Flower Power:  Hops are a flower, too! This outstanding IPA from New York has received some rave reviews as an absolute gemstone in terms of showcasing the complex, tropical flavor of the hops with which it is brewed—and then dry-hopped no less than five times!

Brewmaster Jack – Hoppiness is a Warm Pun:  As another nod to the “flower power” of hops, this Beatles punned double IPA from Northampton, MA is a highly renowned heavy-hitter. A delightfully citrusy companion for the season.
